September.  Can you believe it’s already September? 

Did I say that yesterday?  Because I was thinking it. 

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on our summer quite a bit.  Our summer.  Our first together, under the same roof.

It has been so surreal, and yet so very real all at the same time.

We’ve had some incredible adventures together — some large, some small.

And this is one of them.

Have you ever seen a dog smile this wide?  That’s Ruby’s “we are going on a hike, I just know it!!!!” face.

And this is us.  Convening with nature in the Triangle at Umstead Park.  Loving one another.

Being grateful for all we have.
